Mirror PDF pages horizontally or vertically
To mirror a PDF horizontally, flip its page content from left to right; ordinary text will read backward. A vertical PDF flip reflects content from top to bottom. Enable both directions on one page to turn its content through 180 degrees.
- Horizontal: left and right reflection
- Vertical: top and bottom reflection
- Both directions can be active on the same page
Set all pages, then adjust selected pages
The global buttons write the chosen state to every PDF page. Each thumbnail still has its own horizontal and vertical controls, so you can remove or add either transformation on selected pages before choosing Apply changes.
- One-click controls for the complete PDF
- Independent settings for every page
- Thumbnail previews show the current state
Correct mirrored scans and artwork
Use horizontal mirroring for scans captured through a mirror or artwork prepared for transfers. Use vertical mirroring when content has been reflected across its top and bottom edge. If the page is merely sideways or upside down, Rotate PDF is usually the clearer operation.
- Correct accidentally mirrored pages
- Prepare transfer and print artwork
- Use rotation for orientation-only problems
Local processing and PDF limitations
KissPDF wraps selected page content in PDF coordinate transformations in browser memory. Page sizes, crop boxes, and ordinary vector drawing commands are retained, but rewritten annotations, links, forms, and digital signatures should be checked in the downloaded copy.
- No PDF upload
- No intentional screenshot conversion
- Original file remains unchanged
