Convert PDF pages to A4 or another paper size
This tool changes physical page dimensions such as A4 or Letter. It does not target a number of kilobytes or reduce image resolution. Use Compress PDF when the download size is the problem.
- A4: 210 × 297 mm
- A3: 297 × 420 mm
- A5: 148 × 210 mm
- Letter: 8.5 × 11 inches
- One selected size is applied to every page
Complete pages are fitted, not cropped
KissPDF uses the complete MediaBox of each source page, scales it by the same amount horizontally and vertically, and centers it on the new page. This matches PDF2Go, including pages whose CropBox previously hid outer content. If the source and target proportions differ, white margins remain on two sides so that no page content is cut off or stretched.
- No Fill mode or automatic edge cropping
- No non-proportional stretching
- Preset orientation follows the first page, matching PDF2Go
- Mixed page sizes are normalized in one operation
What the resized copy preserves
Ordinary text, fonts, images, and vector drawing commands remain PDF content instead of being rasterized into page screenshots. Link and annotation coordinates are scaled with the page. The rewrite still changes page geometry, so signed and unusually interactive files require review. Unusual files with non-zero MediaBox origins follow PDF2Go coordinate behavior and can place some content outside the new page.
- Text normally remains searchable and selectable
- Page boxes are normalized to the target size
- Form values and widgets are retained but should be reviewed
- Digital signatures become invalid after rewriting
Private browser processing
The selected PDF is read and resized in browser memory. KissPDF does not send the document bytes to a processing API, and it creates a separate download instead of changing the original file.
- No document upload or task queue
- No account or watermark
- Available memory limits very large or complex PDFs
